Sand Peeling/Sand Inclusion Defects

Problem Description:During pouring, the mold sand is impacted by the high-temperature molten metal and peels off, mixing into the surface of the casting, causing sand inclusion or rough surface.

Solution:

  • Improve the strength and thermal stability of molding sand and adjust additives and moisture content.
  • Strictly control the uniformity of molding sand mixing and use regularly updated ratios of new sand and reclaimed sand.
  • Increase the thickness of the coating layer or improve the coating performance to enhance heat resistance and anti-erosion capabilities.
