Surface Blemishes and Paint Peeling

Problem Description:Poor adhesion or uneven thickness of the in-mold coating may cause pitting, flow lines or missing parts on the casting surface.

Solution:

  • Use special shell mold paint and spray and dry under uniform temperature and drying conditions.
  • Stir the paint evenly and filter to avoid coating impurities or bubbles.
  • The mold shell coating can be selected from different refractory grade formulas according to the casting material and pouring temperature.
