Porosity and Shrinkage Holes in Castings
Problem Description:Internal pores or local shrinkage often occur due to the inability of gas to be discharged smoothly during pouring or uneven cooling.
Solution:
- Optimize the pouring system design and set up good risers and exhaust ducts to ensure smooth gas discharge.
- Control the pouring speed and temperature to avoid soup flow air entrainment and excessive soup residue formation.
- Arrange reasonable cooling paths according to product structure to avoid hot spot concentration.
