Wax Model Deformation

Problem Description:Wax patterns are easily deformed by temperature or mechanical forces during demolding or storage, resulting in dimensional errors or shape deviations in the final casting.

Solution:

  • Control the wax pattern injection and cooling temperature to avoid residual stress in the wax material.
  • After the wax model is completed, it is immediately assembled into a tree and sent to a constant temperature storage space to avoid warping caused by high temperature or humidity changes.
  • Use industrial wax materials with dimensional stability and regularly test their physical properties.
